On Monday, business magazine Forbes published its annual list “30 under 30” – a list that first saw the light five years ago. Each year the magazine makes a selection of the top young entrepreneurs on a mission to change the world and making a name for themselves in the process.
From 15,000 nominations, the list was whittled down to 600 young professionals and entrepreneurs that are making a significanct impact on our lives. Forbes reporters and a panel of judges (including Sarah Jessica Parker and New York based designer Tory Burch) made the final selection based on criteria such as technology or number of people reached. 

 Based on industries, the selection is divided into 20 categories ranging from Food & Drink, through to Law & Policy.
Amongst the different ventures on the list, a handful of the new fashion power players, young professionals taking on the fashion industry. Plus size model Ashley Graham heads the Art & Style category, for her role in changing the way women are seen. Luxury jewellery designer Delfina Delettrez also made the list, along with creatives such as photographer Olivia Bee. 
The retail and e-commerce category also features individuals that have made a name for themselves in fashion: Tyler Haney founder of activewear label Outdoor Voices tops the list, whilst Kelechi Anyadiegwu founder of Zuvaa, an online marketplace for African inspired fashion, also earned a place in the selection.
To accompany the “30 under 30” list Forbes published a video that gives an interesting insight into the DNA of these talented millenials (from their background and education, to their relationship status), not to mention a better idea of the generation paving the way of the future through bold ideas and innovation. These are the young people to watch over the years to come.
