The Cruise shows have become known for their glamorous settings. The French designer Nicolas Ghesquière chose the Niteroi Contemporary Art Museum (also known as the Mac de Niteroi, designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer) for the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2017 show. It is not surprising, as the Brazilian architecture, in recent decades has attracted some attention as the the world’s most progressive architectural movement. The show’s location was as stunning as the collection, which was full of rainbow colours, playfulness and romanticism. From scuba- style sporty dresses to bright accessories and ruffled accents, the collection was definitely an artful tribute to the Rio de Janeiro’s vibrant culture.
