SENIOR MARKETING & COMMS MANAGER

The Senior Marketing & Comms Manager will be responsible for pulling together work
streams across the business to deliver marketing objectives and ensure the execution of all small and large scale marketing and PR plans globally. They will have strong team
leadership and project management skills, working to execute the Brand Director and
Founders’ creative brand vision combined with commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Marketing Management and Delivery
• Own small as well as large scale marketing project plans globally, ensuring clear
commercial objectives are set, a budget is assigned and direct reports are clear on
deliverables and engaged from beginning to completion: including but not limited
to new product launches, brand initiatives and influencer commissions.
• Support hero wholesale accounts on bespoke marketing campaigns across global
markets and working with the account managers and trade marketing manager.
• Manage the workflow and team priorities including imagery, PR, graphics, VM
and social.
• Support direct reports to deliver imagery, collateral, messaging, advice and any
other supporting activity associated with those marketing plans and initiatives on
time, brand and in budget
• Coordinate and brief cross functional stakeholders and third party agencies to
deliver imagery, collateral, messaging, advice and any other supporting activity
associated with marketing plans and initiatives on time, brand and in budget
• Create sales tools for the wholesale team including pitches and collection
presentations.
• Build and maintain key relationships with retailers, ensuring the brand has
sufficient exposure on the retailer channels and are plugging in to bigger retailer
campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Brand Director to conceptualise new campaigns and sales
solutions for both short term and long term objectives.
• Oversee the PR strategy and implementation, ensuring relevant agencies are up
to date with assets, releases and any other comms tools needed.
• Oversee the management of brand events including but not limited to retail
grassroots events, press days and blogger events.

Planning & Reporting
• Own, update and communicate the global marketing calendar and timelines
(ensuring it is consistent with and includes the requirements of all global regions)
keeping stakeholders engaged, updated and informed throughout the year
• Manage the detail of the execution of marketing plans and initiatives: scheduling
activity, providing assets direction, identifying and proactively resolving challenges
to delivery
• Hold wash-up meetings, analyse and review past performance of events,
programs and promotions and provide insightful and costed recommendations to
direct reports and stakeholders for future activity
• Produce insight reports for Senior Management review, documenting learnings
and ROI
• Continually monitor competitor strategy and activities

Budget Management
Own the management and tracking of the marketing budget and work with the Brand
Director to ensure it is set and reforested accurately and appropriately
People Management
Lead, motivate and support all direct reports, holding regular 121s with a focus on
delivering the business objectives
Support the team to effectively select, brief and manage external agencies and to work
collaboratively with internal stakeholders

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Skills & Experience:
4-5+ years in a related marketing/ relationship driven/ project management role
Experience of working in an entrepreneurial company desirable
Outstanding Project Management skills – leading and executing projects
Proven successful track record in managing third party relationships and developing
positive partnerships
Excellent marketing experience ideally both in the UK and internationally
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Good budget management experience
Strong working knowledge of Excel and powerpoint
An eye for detail with creative problem solving

Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and management
Ideally experience in fashion or beauty or relevant industry/ a keen interest in these
industries
Educational Qualifications:
Minimum academic level required: Bachelor Degree Ideal academic level preferred: 2:1
